Upcoming shows

I would like you to, in tab upcoming shows, show just last few months episodes. What i mean, for example, I watch show The Simpsons, an of course i havent watched all of the episodes from the beginning, but upcoming tab always shows me that next episode is S01E01, and i would like you to change that, or add an option for some shows to remove that.

Mark as viewed , upcoming you have in the calendar even if you not watched previous seasons

The suggestion to "set show as skipped" would solve this much better, and wouldn't affect your viewed stats

I am having the opposite problem. On extended shows where I'm watching old seasons as well as the current season the list shows the most recent unwatched episode as opposed to the oldest unwatched.
